Strategy that reaches into execution.
Nearly twenty years across marketing, sales, business development and go-to-market taught me that the hard part is never the thinking. Advisor to Siemens, BYK-Chemie, BMS, Deutsche Börse and authentic.network. And inside Serviceplan, Leo Burnett, Virtual Identity, fischerAppelt, Saatchi & Saatchi.
Where I come in
The symptoms look the same each time: departments running in different directions, the portfolio stretched thin, customers drifting, growth slowing. What’s missing isn’t analysis. It’s a decision with a number attached: what stops, who decides, what the first moves are.
I start with conversations across functions, plus the outside view on market, competitors and customers. Silence is not a yes, so I test every position individually before it locks. What’s left is one decision the business can run on, and the structure that holds it.
What I’ve been accountable for
—Developed a global value proposition and the integration of a US spin-off as Managing Director, with the portfolio for market entry.
—Built a growth strategy on a sharper position, the structures for marketing and business development, and the commercial arguments that went with them for a network agency.
—Led the go-to-market for a new brand in a heavily regulated consumer market and built the unit that delivers it across content, campaigns, CRM activation and platform development.
—Built digital and strategy practices as practice leader, and advised CMOs in regulated sectors, from positioning through market entry.
—Rebuilt the digital strategy across platforms, marketing and salesfor a global chemical company, off our own market analysis, into a three-year roadmap across markets.
That’s where I learned what a decision costs when you have to deliver it yourself.
About me
I grew up in the US and in France, the daughter of German entrepreneurs. Going all in and staying adaptable were the norm in our house. And in three languages you learn quickly to hear what a room is not saying.
I work best with people who would rather hear what isn’t working.
